The National Confederation of Parent Teacher Associations, a registered charity, is the only membership organisation for PTAs and other home school groups in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Members enjoy high levels of support and advice on a variety of subjects such as fundraising ideas.

A site covering all aspects of recycling, with a number of sections including how and where to recycle, recycling facts and myths, and where to buy items made from recycled materials. The 'Fun Stuff' section includes a brilliant animation of what happens inside a compost bin, shows how paper gets recycled and two great games, 'Super Recycler' and 'Keep It Up', as well as lots of information about Recycler the Rapping Robot.

There is a useful section on school recycling activities, classified according to age and subject. The site also has a 'Recycling Bank Locator' which will locate your nearest recycling banks for a wide range of materials.

A great source of information on every aspect of waste. Downloadable information sheets are available on composting, glass, paper and plastics and a wide range of other topics.
