On 2007, February 1, Bag2School formally started its operations in the Netherlands.

We started off relatively carefully by only tackling the Western part (albeit the most populated part) of the country (postal codes 1000 t/m 3300).

After a somewhat hesitant and slow start, we were planned to notice to our great pleasure that the response of the schools started picking up speed.

It should also be noted that the quality, as well as the quantity of the collected clothing is of an amazingly high standard!

We from Bag2School are obviously delighted that we made the move to the Continent and even happier we did so via the Netherlands.

We're sure we won't be looking back!

Here are a few of the children of elementary school 'De Golfbreker' in Koog aan de Zaan, who held an impressive collection and later were also helpful in assisting to load the van.

The total weight was almost 2500 kilos!

This is an exceptionally large amount of clothing, when related to the number of pupils.

We shall be quite surprised if 'De Golfbreker' at the end of this calendar year will not be up there in the top of most successful collections in the Netherlands!
